Disaster Assistance Improvement Program (DAIP)

Each year, presidentially declared disasters result in injury and death, destroy homes and businesses, and disrupt the lives of hundreds of thousands of people across the nation. Using NIEM as the foundation, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) created the Disaster Assistance Improvement Program (DAIP) to provide disaster survivors with a single access point to the many sources of federally funded forms of assistance.
