Acreage Crop Reporting and Streamlining Initiative (ACRSI) IEPD

The Acreage Crop Reporting Streamlining Initiative (ACRSI) has a need to develop consistent data standards for the sharing of information across USDA and its external partners. USDA must define a standard format for producers and third party data providers to upload Producer/Customer, acreage related data, including tabular and geospatial data. USDA FSA has chosen to standardize this information exchange through the use of NIEM standard. NIEM (National Information Exchange Model) is a federal industry community-driven, standards-based approach to exchanging information.
