By: NIEM PMO

Next week, NIEM will be featured at Canada’s annual Government Technology Conference and Exhibition (GTEC). The theme of this year’s event is “Innovating and Collaborating--Making a Difference for Canadians."

Two NIEM panel discussions will take place:

  • The first panel will focus on the international application of NIEM, exploring viewpoints from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Panelists include NIEM Executive Director Donna Roy, Chief Information Officer of Canada Corinne Charette, and Lead Engineer, Mexico Federal Police Information Center Andrés Perales.
  • The second panel offers a sampling of case studies as well as discussions on the real-world use of various NIEM tools and services.

NIEM will also be represented on the GTEC Exhibition floor, at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat booth. Subject matter experts from Public Safety Canada will be present, so be sure to stop by!
