Donna Roy One of 15 Recognized for Innovative Thinking & Leadership

What an honor! The NIEM Program Management Office (PMO) congratulates our executive director, Donna Roy, on being named one of FierceGovernmentIT's Fierce 15. Donna is one of only 15 federal employees chosen for her forward thinking and innovation in leading one of the most progressive and innovative projects in government (yep, we’re talking about NIEM!).

We all know how dedicated Donna is to NIEM’s success, but to receive the Fierce 15 recognition is a testament to the tremendous impact she has on NIEM’s growth and advancement. FierceGovernmentIT recognizes Donna’s influence on the growth of the NIEM program, including its expansion into new mission areas and organizations across all levels of government, including international pilot programs with Mexico and Canada.

Congratulations, Donna, and thank you for everything you do to advance the NIEM mission!

About FierceGovernmentIT’s Fierce 15

On October 29, 2012, FierceGovernmentIT, an online publication that tracks the latest technological developments in U.S. government, announced its first annual Fierce 15, recognizing 15 federal employees with innovative accomplishments. The honorees were chosen based on interviews with government officials and industry to identify some of the most innovative projects and forward-thinking people in government IT.

FierceGovernmentIT's recognizes its Fierce 15 honorees for their (often behind-the-scenes) management of some of the most progressive projects in government and work tirelessly to make government more efficient, service- and mission-oriented, and accountable.
