Organizations Utilizing the National Information Exchange Model
The following map represents organizations that are developing, implementing, or utilizing the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) in information sharing projects. This includes initiatives ranging from detailed development of Information Exchange Package Documentation (IEPD) to end-user utilization of resources, such as FBI's National Data Exchange (N-DEx) and Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS) information.
To get help implementing your own project using NIEM, please refer to the resources available at this site, as well as those at the Department of Justice Information Sharing Web site, www.it.ojp.gov/NIEM. Points of contact available below the map may also serve as potential sources of insight into project implementation.
